Our family has always owned boxer dogs. Our dog Copper we have had for 5 birthdays. We did not buy the cheap dog food; we invested in his health and bought the Vet recommended dog food. Copper was over 105lb and would sleep most of the time, low energy and drinking water all the time. This is when we did the research and found out most every dog food on the market has added salt. So, the journey was on we started to make a human grade dog food with no added salt for Copper. We made big batches and froze them. We gave him the same amount of not more than he normally eats, and within 2 weeks we noticed a huge difference. Copper had started to lose weight and we could leave water down for him for the first time.

Skip ahead a few months and Copper is down to 87lb. and as playful as a puppy and has so much energy he plays ball 24/7. He goes nuts when it is time to eat. We wanted to share our results with other families that have had issues with weight gain, and drinking all the time, or just wants a healthy food.
